My mom has a mini collection of 1$ coins. All of the coins have a woman in the front and an eagle in the back. The coins are like brownish yellow. Out of all these coins,however, my mom has a coin thats different from the rest. It’s a 1$ coin with John Adams in front and the Statue of Liberty in the back.. Around the coin it says:

"E pluribus Unum – In God we trust . 2007 – D"

I think the coin is only worth 1$ but she insists to ask someone about it because she heard on the news of coins that have writing around them are are very rare. The coin is also a different color from the rest, it’s a golden color and it doesn’t seem worn out like the rest.

So how much is it worth?

so i found 2 golden colored dollar coins in my piggy bank from a long time ago. its gold colored, has a picture of sacagewea on the front and the year 2000. it has liberty on top and in god we trust on the side of sacagewea. however, it does not have the the ridges on the side of it. is it real? also, there is a eagle on the back with the saying " e pluribus unum" , united states of america on top, stars around the eagle there are stars and one dollar on the bottom. please help.

It is a large golden coin. On one side it has an eagle and says "Republican Presidential Task Force." On the other side is the White House and says "Medal of Merit. Ronald Reagan Founder." It came in a blue velvet box that has "Medal of Merit. This Medal of Merit has been presented to you in appreciation for your support as a member of the Republican Presidential Task Force" written on the inside. Any idea where it’s from, what it means, and how much it is worth? Thanks!

I have a small white case with the bank of Poland symbol on it, inside in red velvet rests a small ( no bigger or thicker than a dime) golden coin with an engraving of Pope John Paul II on it. the inside of the case says it is a commemorative of his 1983 trip to Poland, would anyone happen to know or could point me in a direction of attaching a value to this beauty? on the back it also says 1000Z with an engraving on a ornate eagle

It has a golden eagle with an american flag and on the back it has a horse shoe and at the edges it says MAY GOOD LUCK ALWAYS ACCOMPANY THE BEARER I didn’t ask a coin collector but people in my school said its fake gold dunno luck token or worth 2.50 whatever

One reads "A special gift for a special occasion" on its packaging and also reads Cameo Classic and says valuable collectors item with the date 1935-1977 (I have another one not in packaging.) 2 read "Israel silver anniversary commemoratives," With a big 25 and the star or David. 3 red "World trade and commerce." with the odd map of earth. One reads "Texas Rangers 150th Anniversary" Dated 1823-1973. One is a coin that has cattle pulling a van with a farmer next to it and on the back has a farmer picking some bowl shape thing up and is circled by stars. One coin has the American Eagle with the American flag behind it that says 31.1 grams. One ingot has the American eagle that says "The American Royal Mint" and has 15 groins of .999 silver, but looks quite golden. The last ingot has a man riding a motorcycle dated 1973 and reds "Motorcycles" and says "Made in Switzerland" on the back.

Another question is: Do you have any other tips for buying these coins? Is there a way to get ripped off? What is the typical price of these coins in relation to the price of gold? Should they be looked at as buillion investment or is there a better way to buy gold for investment purposes. Thanks for your help. John
